PHYSICAL QUALITY, IN VITRO DIGESTIBILITY, AND FERMENTATION PRODUCTS OF SILAGE RICE STRAW ADDED VARIOUS TYPES OF LEGUMINOSE

 This study aims to determine the physical quality, dry matter digestibility, organic N-NH3, and total VFA of rice straw silage added with various legumes. research was conducted at Farm Sesetan Laboratory Animal Nutrition Forage Laboratory, Faculty Husbandry Udayana University from No- vember December 2020. The design used a completely randomized (CRD) five treatments four replications were P0 (90% + 5% pollard mollases), P1 (60% 30% Calliandra calothyrsus P2 Gliricidia sepium P3 Indigofera zollingeriana P4 Sesbania grandiflora mollases). results showed that best values for color, odor, fungus obtained in tre- atment P0, P1, P4. Texture variable got value treatment P2, P3. highest digestibility production N-NH3 produced P2. Based on results, addition types legumes can improve silage.
